Who I am

My name is James Eiler. I am a high school student in Hanover, New Hampshire. I have always been passionate about Germany in general but in particular German history before the First World War. I believe that it is important that the general population know more about world history, especially that of a nation which has so often played a pivotal role. However, as a high school student, I often find that the school curriculum fails to provide adequate depth or breadth of learning about Germany. Thus, I decided to start this blog to educate people, especially other students, on German history and its significance. I hope readers will find my posts interesting not only from an academic perspective, but also that it will help inform their opinions about both the past and the present.
